I use a person-centred, collaborative approach as the basis of my therapy work which will help you to make sense of your life experiences and support you in creating your own solutions to your current difficulties. This will help you to re-build a sense of who you are, improve your self-esteem and enable you to live your life authentically.
I also offer tools and techniques used in solution focused therapy, positive psychology, compassion focused therapy and life coaching. The combination of these tools and techniques ensures that the work that we do is specifically tailored to you, which will enable you achieve clarity to help you feel empowered, confident and well equipped for any challenges that life may bring to you in the future.

My approach to my work is rooted in a genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals and have extensive experience in supporting and mentoring roles prior to my work as a therapist and coach.
Outside of my professional commitments, I find inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors, believing that connecting with the natural world can significantly enhance one’s journey toward self-discovery and fulfilment. This is also why I offer outdoor therapy for clients based in the Nottingham area.

In addition to 12 years experience as a therapist, I have extensive work experience in various support and mentoring roles. I hold a BA (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling Practice and am a registered member of the BACP, (Therapeutic and Coaching Divisions) which ensures that I work in accordance with their Ethical Frameworks, undertake continual professional development and participate in regular clinical supervision.
I also hold a Diploma in Life Coaching, Certificates in Emotional Resilience and Positive Psychology, and have undertaken many other professional courses including ADHD and Neurodiversity Interventions for Women, Compassion Focused Therapy, Hoarding Awareness and Spiritual Life Coaching to name just a few.
Yes, I offer both in-person (Outdoor) and Online Therapy & Coaching sessions.
Therapy/Coaching that takes place outdoors in natural spaces such as parks and woodlands in and around the Nottingham area. This may involve sitting or moving for the whole session, or a combination of the two, and there are ways for us to bring nature more actively into the session, for example using natural objects as symbols of your past, present or future.
The frequency of therapy/coaching sessions depends on your needs and goals. Some clients prefer to meet weekly, while others may meet fortnightly or monthly. Most clients start weekly, then move to fortnightly and eventually move on to having monthly therapeutic check-ins. This will be discussed either during the consultation or the first session.
Yes, absolutely. Just get in touch using the contact form stating your availability and we can have a chat about what you would like from therapy/coaching, and any other questions that you may have. This will help you decide whether or not I'm the right therapist/coach for your needs.
Yes, you can check my availability and book online at HarleyTherapy.com but please note that the booking facility is for the 50 minute online or phone sessions only and will incur a booking fee. For outdoor sessions, longer coaching sessions (3 hours) or to check my weekend availability then please get in touch via the online form below or message me on 07817 440902
The cost per 50 minute session is £58, and a 3 hour life coaching session is £150 (paid in advance). Both can be paid by bank transfer but if booking through Harley Therapy then you can pay by card, although this will also incur a booking fee.
